Charities we support

Kids Aid

KidsAid are a Northampton based charity providing therapeutic support for children and young people who have suffered any form of trauma. We do this by providing Play Therapy, Art Therapy and Drama Therapy, as well as Protective Behaviours work and Child/Adult Relationship Counselling.

The Frank Bruno Foundation

Based in East Northampton, Frank Bruno set up the Foundation to provide space for youths and adults alike, and offer wellbeing programmes and structured non-contact boxing sessions for people who are experiencing problems with mental ill-health.

Home Start

Home-Start Northampton, committed to making our service as accessible as possible to the many diverse communities we work with and to families who find it difficult to reach out for support for themselves, for whatever reason. We work in partnership with families to develop confidence, positive relationships with their children and to widen links within the community.

Crusader Community Boating

With our fully accessible wide beam boat, Crusader Community Boating specialises in boat trips for disabled people of any age as well as elderly people in care homes. There is no charge for people from Northamptonshire. The service is run by fully trained crew volunteers and funded through voluntary donations.

Northants Domestic Abuse Service

Northamptonshire Domestic Abuse Service (NDAS) began under the name of Northampton Women’s Aid in 1976. Originally staffed by volunteers the organisation has changed a lot since then but has always been dedicated to helping and supporting the victims of domestic abuse.
